Barbara A. Connolly Zunic

Barbara A. Connolly Zunic, 72, of Bluffton, SC and wife of Joseph P. Zunic, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 at her home.She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 17, 1937. She was the daughter of the late John J. and Anne Butti Connolly.She was an active member of the L.A. AOH in Maryland and Pennsylvania. She was the Veterans Coordinator for Penn State University, York Campus. She enjoyed needlepoint and playing dominos and canasta. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She accompanied her husband on world trips for various groups.She is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Zunic of Bluffton, SC; two sons, Gregory J. (Eleanore)Zunic of Downingtown, PA and Jeffrey J. (Libby) Zunic of York, PA; two daughters, Teresa M. Downs of Camp Hill, PA and Michele M. Schmidt of Hershey, PA; one brother, John G. Connolly of Pittsburgh, PA; and grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Samantha and Jacquelyn Zunic.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Andrews Chapel, Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton, SC at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 14, 2009.
