Barbara Jones Cooler

Barbara Jones Cooler, age 87 of Hardeeville, SC and widow of Archie Cooler passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, GA. Barbara was born in Lyons, GA on November 14, 1928 to the late Grady Jones and Mamie Gattis Jones. She was formerly employed at Ace Hardware of Hardeeville; former active member of the Hardeeville Marine Rescue Squadron; member Middleground Road Church of Christ; enjoyed arranging flowers and jigsaw puzzles. She was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Kenneth Jones and Charles Jones and sisters, Dorothy, Mildred, Sue and Mary. She is survived by her son, Gary F. Cooler (Mickey) of Pensacola, FL; one daughter, Norma C. Francese (Gregory) of Hardeeville, SC; one sister, Eunice Raymond of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Mitch, Brittany, Tammy, Christina and Jennifer and one great grandchild, Emery. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery, Bluffton, SC. Memorials may be sent to the Hardeeville Marine Rescue Squadron.
