Barbara Forgacz, 78, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born on December 10, 1947, in New York City, Bobbie was raised in Astoria, New York. She later lived in Long Beach, New York, where she raised her family, before making her home in Sun City, Bluffton, South Carolina.
Bobbie was the beloved wife of Alfred Forgacz; the loving mother of Lesha Hardgrave and Sonia Forgacz; and the proud Nana of Daniel, Isabella, and Jackson Hardgrave. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Olga Karnik, and her brother, Stanley Karnik.
Bobbie loved her family more than anything. She was a woman of strong faith, a gifted artist, and a loyal friend. She had a beautiful smile, a kind heart, and a way of making everyone feel welcome. She truly enjoyed life and found joy in the people she loved.
