She was known for her exceptional skill as a seamstress and upholsterer, talents she used throughout her life to serve others with creativity, craftsmanship, and care. Barbara was a member of the Gillisonville Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden, tending to her flowers, drinking coffee and eating cookies with her grandchildren.

Franklin Marsh of Islandton, South Carolina; her daughters, Billie Ann Bedingfield (Michael) of Belton, South Carolina, Brenda Lee Proveaux of Walterboro, South Carolina, Linda Turner (Larry) of Ridgeland, South Carolina, and Marilyn Webster (Kevin) of Gillisonville, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by two brothers, Carlyle O'Quinn and Edward O’Quinn and five sisters, Doris Freeman, Charlene Smith, Sherry Tanner, Betty Martin, and Ruth Diane O’Quinn, and one sibling that passed in infancy.

Barbara will be remembered for her gentle spirit, strong work ethic, generous heart, and the love she shared with those around her. Her family finds comfort in the many memories she created and the lasting example of kindness, perseverance, and devotion she leaves behind.
