Barbara Minasi

Barbara Lane Minasi, 76, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 in the Candler Hospital, Savannah, GA, after a brief illness. She was born in New Rochelle, New York on December 7, 1935. Barbara and Bob Minasi moved to Bluffton in 1985. For the next 16 years, Barb was Gramma and caretaker to over one hundred children here in the Low Country. Her kindness and love has touched so many families and children, allowing their parents and grandparents piece of mind while at work. Her sense of humor and smiling face will always be remembered, as was her love and kindness for animals. She is survived by her sons, Chris (Margaret) Adams of Westbrookville, NY; Matthew (Kelly) Minasi of Bluffton, SC and Michael Minasi of Burlingame CA; and her grandchildren, Derek, Kristen, Brittany, Samantha, Nina, Jake and Molly.The family requests memorial donations may be made to Marantha Farm, 342 Crabapple Lane,Ridgeland, SC 29936.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
