Barbara Jean Woodward

Barbara Jean Woodward, 74 of Ridgeland, SC and widow of Joey Alfred Woodward Sr. passed away on Thursday, October 08, 2015 in the Ridgeland Nursing Center. Barbara was born in Millen, GA on April 10, 1941 to the late Arthur and Mable Peel Burke. Barbara was a former Nurses' Aide at Ridgeland Nursing Center; attended Faith Baptist Church and was an avid NASCAR fan. Barbara is survived by her children, Donna (Tom) Domingo of Elkins, WV; Susan Woodward and JB Brasch, Sam (Sherry) Woodard , Mary Barton and Troy Lamb all of Ridgeland, Joey (Tracy) Woodward Jr. of Bluffton and Larry (Linda) Woodward of Savannah; her sister, Roberta (Bob) Lambert of Albany, GA; sixteen grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by Mary (Bob) Sowell, Mark (Lois) Burke, John (Margaret) Burke, Frances (Don) Brown, Betty (OC) Godfrey and Noami Burke. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland with burial in Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at Noon until the hour of the service.
