Barry Michael Tenkin

"He never gave up." Barry Michael Tenkin of Hilton Head Island, husband of Jacqueline A. Tenkin, died peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2013. He worked in textiles, sales, and as an entrepreneur. Born in Newark, New Jersey, March 9th, 1942, he was the only son of Emma and Harold Tenkin. Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-nine years is his son, Chris - his wife Susan; and his grandchildren Zachary and Alexandra. As well, he is survived by: his brother-in-law Tom York and his wife Frankie, his brother-in-law Jerry York and his wife Eileen, his sister-in-law Barbara Greenberg and her husband David, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be held at a later date with immediate and extended family.
