Barry Cline Weaver,D.M.D., 83, passed away December 17, 2021. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Barry was a graduate of Texas Christian University and got his D.M.D. from University of Kentucky. Barry is a Navy veteran and will be laid to rest at Beaufort National Cemetery.
Barry (Doc) practiced dentistry in the Atlanta area for 38 years. He had a passionate hobby as a military historian, collecting and trading American, British, Chinese and Vietnamese military medals. He was a prolific writer completing many historic articles for the Orders and Medals Society of America, including coauthoring the book, The Boxer Uprising Campaigns, Medals, and Men. Barry was an avid fisherman as well, but particularly this time of year, he will always be remembered for the twinkle in his eye and the love and fun he shared with family during Christmas.
Barry is survived by his wife, Kim, 9 children, 4 grandchildren, and sisters Marcia Davis and Suzanne Spohn. He embraced his family with a generous heart and thoughtful consul. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Fox Chase Cancer Center https://www.foxchase.org/giving.
