Betty Jean Conlan Dolan

Betty Conlan Dolan, 74, of Bluffton, SC, wife of Richard D. Dolan, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Memorial Medical Center, Savannah, GA.She was born in Clarksville, Texas on March 7, 1934, daughter of the late William and Marie Hays Conlan. She was a homemaker and an active member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Her love touched more lives than she knew.She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard A. (Dick) Dolan of Bluffton, SC; two daughters, Kate Dolan of Catonsville, MD and Peggy Dolan of Windsor Mill, MD; one brother, Larry Conlan of Houston, TX; three sisters, Nancy Boatwright of Augusta, GA, Teddy Gras of Shreveport, LA and Judy Hemmingway of Dunlap, IL, one son in law, Jim Weidman and five grandchildren, Mindy, Spenser, Trent and Meg Weidman and Aaron Sisk.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am on Monday, September 8, 2008 with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be made to Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Rd., Bluffton, SC 29909. The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC from 4 til 6 on Sunday, September 7, 2008.
