Betty June (Hinson) Grennan

Betty June Grennan, 89 died January 19, 2021 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, SC.   What is probably most special about who she was, is that she and her husband, Larry were both born deaf and created an extraordinary life that spanned 59 years of marriage.  Larry passed away in July 2011.

Betty was known for her warm friendly smile. She had a creative talent for crafts and ceramics. She loved the color purple, her dogs and enjoyed watching the birds eating at the feeder outside her window.

Betty was the beloved mother of Millie White, Nancy DeLorenzo, Jim Grennan and Mickey Grennan. Her family included 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The family plans a memorial celebration later this year in upstate NY.
