Betty J. Mckelvey

Betty J. McKelvey, 96, passed away in her sleep on July 23, 2022. After 64 years of marriage, her husband Donald passed away in 2012. She is survived by her son Donald (Margaret), two grandchildren Donald and Deborah (Kevin) and two great-grandchildren. Betty started her working career at Bell Telephone, was a private secretary/bookkeeper, and was also the treasurer for her church for more than 20 years. She completed her working career at the Wall Township, NJ, Tax Collector's Office where she retired as the Township Tax Collector. Betty enjoyed travel, cooking and most importantly 18 point counted cross stitch needlework where her work has been featured at Sun City, SC. She will  be interred next to her husband at Beaufort National Cemetery.
