Mrs. Beulah Jenkins Lawton, 78, widow of James deLacy Lawton, Sr., died Thursday, January 17, 2008 in Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SCThe Grahamville native was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Surviving are sons, James deLacy Lawton, Jr. of Grahamville, SC; William Arthur Jenkins of Johns Island, SC; one daughter, Margaret Ann Rodgers of Clemson, SC; two sisters, Mary J. Fennell of Durham, NC and Ann deWeese J. Judson of Charleston, SC; one grandson, James deLacy Lawton, III and four other grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth McKeithen; her brother, Samuel E. Jenkins and sister, Sue J. Mauney.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Grahamville with interment in the Grahamville Cemetery, Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the hour of service at the church.
