Beverly A. Spector, 87, died peacefully December 10, 2019. She was born February 20, 1932 in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Irving and Charlotte Harrison. After graduation from Everrett High School she married Matthew Spector who she was married to for 62 years. They started their life together in Sharon, Massachusetts, raising four children and volunteering for The Sisterhood, producing books and teaching for American Foundation for the Blind before returning to her career in the insurance department for Norwood Hospital. In 1986, retired, she moved to Hilton Head Island. Beverly continued working in health insurance field and administrative work for various companies. She became active in her swim club, the Quilter's Guild and continued to bake her cookie recipes from around the world.
She is survived by her four children, Avis Spector Rollison, Eric Spector, Ellie Spector Hackett and Joseph Hackett, and Scott Spector and Elizabeth, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A private graveside burial service will be held at Bonaventure Cemetery on December 15 where she will rest next to her husband. Remembrances can be made to Memory Matters of Hilton Head.
