Blake Adam Emmerich, age 67, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Warwick, NY passed April 20, 2016 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Mr. Emmerich was born on April 17, 1949 in Framingham, MA, the son of Suzanne Blakely Emmerich and the late Leroy Emmerich. He attended the University of Georgia and worked in technical ceramics with international sales at Zircar in Florida, NY. He was an outstanding athlete and a lifetime member of the Warwick Valley Country Club. “Blake-O” enjoyed music and will be remembered as a talented guitarist. Mr. Emmerich is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jeffra Pinckney Emmerich; children, Oak Emmerich, Teesha Heilig, and Reid Emmerich; six grandchildren; and brothers, Scott, Kurt, and Christopher Emmerich. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Green. His life will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Emmerich Tree Farm Pavilion in Warwick, NY In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Memory Matters, www.memory-matters.org.
