Bonnie Cullop

Bonnie S. Cullop - 85 of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Avon Lake, OH; Ocala, FL passed away, Friday, 10 July 2026 from an accidental foreign body airway obstruction. Bonnie was born in Cleveland, OH, November 4, 1940, and after being raised in Avon Lake, OH moved to Florida at age 24 and generally lived in Ocala, FL until October 2023 and transferred to the care of the Addison of Bluffton, Sc where she remained until her accidental death.

Mrs. Cullop was a telephone operator at Southern Bell for 30 years. Bonnie in her younger days was an avid bowler winning many league trophies, enjoyed knitting, cooking, and watching Gators sports (lol), but we all know, Sammy cat 1-6 was her favorite hobby.

Mrs. Cullop is survived by her son Vincent (Gina) Hain and stepdaughter Kimberly Cullop (John) Silva. Siblings Rex (Rochelle) Schaefer, Loree Zientarski, and Eddie (Penny) Schaefer. Other survivors include 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Cullop, her brother Roger Schaefer and parents: Edwin C. And Stella (Radsvick) Schaefer.

Mrs. Cullop will be joining her beloved Jim at the State of Florida Natl Cemetery located at Bushnell, FL, 1130, 11 August 2026. All friends and family members may attend the witness placement of ashes for the forever kiss.

Memorial contributions may be forwarded to the Palmetto Animal League in lieu of flowers as Sammy was her lifetime pet. Cremation by Sauls Crematory. Arrangements by Sauls Funeral Home, Bluffton, SC.
