Bridget Michelle Clark

Bridget Michelle Clark, 54 years old, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina passed away May 25, 2014, after a prolonged illness. She was surrounded at home by her loving family. Bridget was born October 4, 1959, in Illinois, a daughter to her mother Michelle Patteson and the late Charles Patteson. Bridget is survived by her husband of 27 years, Douglas P. Clark. In addition, she is survived by her daughter Kristyn Marie Clark, of Hilton Head Island, stepson Mason Clark and wife Chrissy Clark of Columbia, SC, stepdaughter, Toby Pickens and husband Rob Pickens, her grandson Lucien and granddaughter Keira of Lockhart, Texas. Her brothers Patrick and wife Elaine, Michael, Tim and wife Janice, John and wife Debbie, sister Marie and husband Dean Dexter and many cherished friends. Her loving companions Scooter and Tallen. Bridget at 21 years of age started her own business, Homeowners Title Services and in November of 1983 incorporated Homeowners Mortgage Enterprises, Inc., which grew to a large regional mortgage company and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of CoastalStates Bank. She was a loving wife, mother, friend and a treasure to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all. Graveside services will be held at Six Oaks Cemetery, Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, SC at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, 119 Palmetto Way, Bluffton, SC 299210.
