Brittie Smith Beach, 75, widow of Raymond L. Beach, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 at her home in Bluffton, SC.She was born in Dallas, TX on September 29, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Kathleen Holland Smith. She was a homemaker and enjoyed growing flowers.She is survived by her son, Raymond L. Beach, Jr. of Bluffton, SC; one daughter, Tannia Beach of Hilton Head Island, SC; two brothers in law, Lonnie (Shirley) Beach of Walterboro, SC and Albert Beach of Bluffton, SC; two sisters in law, Mary Fell of Ridgeland, SC and Louise (Henry) Padgett of Bluffton, SC; four grandchildren, Chris Saturday, Tisch Colcock, Chip Beach, and Jay Beach and two great grandchildren, Ashley Beach and Evans Beach.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 9, 2208 in the Bluffton Cemetery, Bluffton, SC.
