Bruce M. Mcconnell

Bruce McConnell, 79, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at his home after a brief battle with cancer.

Bruce was born in Abington, PA, on May 1, 1944.  He is preceded in death by his father, William, his mother, Josephine, and his brother, Mark.  Bruce is survived by his wife, Kathleen Kappes, his brother Warren (Kelly), nephews Logan and Colin, Aunt Peg McConnell, and cousins Lois (Doug) Bondor, Paul (Suzanne) McConnell, Peter McConnell, and Gail (Lou) Figgs.  Bruce worked the final 30 years of his career as a commercial real estate broker for CBRE.  He served his country in the US Air Force Reserves.  Bruce’s passions in life included sports (tennis, softball, football, snow skiing, and basketball).  He was a dog lover and leaves behind Lucy and Chandler.

In recognition of his special life, in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to your favorite military charity or animal rescue.
