Carl Julius Clavadetscher Jr., 72 of Ridgeland, SC and of Montana passed away at his home on April 14, 2016. Carl was born in Seattle, Washington on September 29, 1943 to the late Carl J. Clavadetscher Sr. and Madeline Keil Clavadetscher. Carl was a graduate of Billings High; he received his Bachelors from Montana State University; received his masters from the Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL; received his PHD from the University of Oregon; received his MBA from the University of Puget Sound, Washington and his Masters of Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University. Carl was a US Army veteran of Vietnam who was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery in combat. Carl served as Professor of Systems Management at I.R.M.C. National Defense University/Department of Defense, Washington, DC. Carl loved Montana where he enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting with his brothers. Carl was a very spiritual man who loved the outdoors. WHILE ALIVE, HE LIVED. Carl is survived by his former wife, Kari Clavadetscher of Herndon, VA; four daughters, Maria Everhart (Tad) of Portland, Oregon, Karin Carlson (Andy) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Kathryn Palmer (Scott) of Springfield, VA and Emily Clavadetscher of Herndon, VA; and two granddaughters, Gwen and Leigh Everhart. Carl was predeceased by his brothers, James and John Clavadetscher.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC.
