He was the son of the late Lawrence Jones and Bertha Thomas Jones.He was retired from Hargray Communications; a member of the Great Swamp Baptist church and a member of the American Masonic Lodge #98.He is survived by his wife, Ann H. Jones of Ridgeland, SC; one son, Dr. Steven Jones of Cincinnati, OH; two daughters, Carla Bloomfield of Olive Hill, KY and Judy Trainer of Ridgeland, SC; three sisters, Bertie Phelps of Brooksville, KY, Lorena Threkheld of Cincinnati, OH and Geraldine Dunaway of Mayesville, KY; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
