Carl U. Parkinson

Carl U. Parkinson passed away on July 21, 2018 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC at the age of 91. Mr. Parkinson was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 17, 1926 to the late Harry James and Selma Damus Parkinson. Prior to moving to Bluffton, with his wife, Helen, Mr. Parkinson retired as an Insurance Executive, CPCU and CLU. He was a graduate of Middlebury College, Middlebury, VT; a US Navy veteran of World War II and a protestant. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Carl U. Parkinson (Donna) of Raleigh, NC and his grandson, Matthew Carl Parkinson. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry C. Parkinson and sisters, Dorothy Vaughn and Edith I. Vonner. Memorial services for Mr. Parkinson will be held at a later date.
