Carla Jean Higginbotham

Carla Jean Higginbotham, age 58 of Bluffton and wife of Wallace G. Higginbotham, passed away on July 21, 2020 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Carla was born on December 7, 1961 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to the late William R. Miller and Isabelle Gould Miller Lemley.

Carla was a Human Resources and Office Manager for a Health Care Company after moving to South Carolina.  She enjoyed making jewelry, macramé, floral arranging and home decorating.  She and her husband were faithful attendees at the LowCountry Community Church for thirteen years.

In addition to her husband of 25 years, Carla is survived by her son, Jacob Dale Helmick of Morgantown, WVA; her daughters, Ginger Leggett (Harold) Defibough and Whitney Higginbotham all of Buckhannon, WVA, her brother, Robert Lemley of Wooster, OH and her beloved grandchildren, Kendall, Tristan, Ethan, Kaden and Aurora.
