Carol E (Fuhrmann) Mcbride

May 28, 1961 — February 7, 2022

Carol McBride (60) of Sun City, Bluffton, SC, and formerly of Rego Park, Queens NY passed peacefully in her home February 7, 2022. Her final days were spent with her loving husband Brian. Carol was the daughter of the late Alicia and George Fuhrmann and is survived by her husband Brian of 20 years; sisters Alexandra Mullen (John) and Stella Masillo (Raymond). Carol was a wonderful Aunt to Jacqui (Mark; Matthew, Riley and Mackenzie), John, Dylan; CarolAnn (Jayson); Donald, Richard, Thomas, Lea and Breezy; Step-Daughter Meghan and Granddaughter Arianna who called her Nana.

Carol had so much love for her family, friends and her community. Her amazing strength and her genuine energy for life made those around her smile and enjoy life just a little bit more. Her faith and love for life was infectious and truly admirable. Carol was forever proud of being the wife of an NYPD Officer.

Carol loved taking beautiful photos of the world around her. She even had one posted in the Sun Sations. She loved her NY Jets and was a devoted NY Rangers and Yankees fan. Carol learned and loved playing Golf when she and Brian moved here; even being given a plaque for getting a Hole in One.

Carol is already so missed by all those whose lives she touched. Just meeting her one time, you wanted to be her friend….

There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they are gone, their Light Remains.
