Carol L. Moyer

Carol L. Moyer, age 85, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Kankakee, IL died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Bloom at Belfair. Mrs. Moyer was born on March 8, 1931 in Fairfield, IA, the daughter of the late Elmer Ramsay and Lena Ehrhardt Ramsay. She was a member of the Travelers Club, the Kankakee Garden Club, the Kankakee Country Club, and WESU dinner club. Mrs. Moyer was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert L. Moyer; brother, Harry Ramsay, sister June Belle Ramsay; and granddaughter, Sara Moyer Carpenter. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Michele Pasek (Gary) of Bluffton, SC; sons, Douglas Moyer (Ann) of Noblesville, IN and Scott Moyer (Laurie) of Roscoe, IL; grandchildren, Megan, Brian, Curtis, Joey, Allison, and Ryan; and nine great-grandchildren. She is remembered for her love of family, sincere kindness to friends and strangers, and her fondness of her Iowan farm raised roots.
