Carol Demerris Sanner Putnam

On February 27th, 2017 Carol DeMerris Sanner Putnam of Bluffton, SC was welcomed into heaven by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Carol was born in New Castle, PA on September 8th, 1947 to William H Sanner III & Sarah K. Lusk. At a very young age Carol was born again when she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour. She spent her whole life being an example of what a Christian is, living a life of forgiveness, service, charity and most importantly love! Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Sidney R. Putnam. Carol is survived by her four children (Shawn, Christopher, Jennifer and Bryan), five grandchildren (Andrew-17, Ryder-12, Noah-10, Shelby-8 and River-8), and survived by her brothers Gary Sanner of Middleburg, PA and William H Sanner IV of New Wilmington, PA. She was an advocate for children her whole life, working tirelessly with the PTA and at McCracken Middle School. She enjoyed traveling specially cruising the Caribbean, but her favorite place to visit was Disney World with her children and grandchildren. Our Mother, our best friend, will be missed but sorrow is substituted with joy because we will all meet again. Visitation will be held at Cornerstone Church (1300 May River Road, Bluffton, SC) on March 7th at 10:00 am with the funeral service at 11:00 am, followed by the burial to be held at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens at Sauls Funeral Home (90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC) Luncheon to follow at Cornerstone Church **Carol wished that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Church by way of PO Box 2540 Bluffton, SC 29910**
