Carole A. Heffron, unto a 'new life' in Heaven, passed away at her home in the Sun City Hilton Head community, Okatie, SC on June 18, 2024. She was born February 5, 1940 in the Bronx, New York.

She has two daughters, Laura Hall (Jim) and Christine Fasano both currently living in Florida. She also has a Grand Daughter - Jamie Fasano (FL). Carol enjoyed sewing, cooking, and being an excellent homemaker and was featured in a local newspaper for her endeavors. Subsequently, she attended Brookdale Community College, earning many credits towards an Associate degree in Accounting.

Carole worked as a Full Charge Bookeeper and a Jr. Accounting Clerk in several companies in central NJ {the Whelan Realty Group and Sturbridge Associates concurrently, the Bendix Corporation) and ending at the Medi-Center, a Nursing Home facility in Neptune, NJ. She applied her skills and learned knowledge well in keeping all accounting books balanced and had accomplishments in making improved procedures and processing changes and also saved Medi­ Center notable resources.

In December 2005, she met her current husband, the love of her life, James R. Heffron, at a Monmouth Singles Holiday dinner/dance event. Jim wrote a poem 'A Meeting to Remember' about the evening which was later published in a book called The Wishing Well: Reflections. Subsequently of course, Carole and Jim were married March 31, 2007.

Carole and Jim both retired in 2009 and made the move to their forever home in 2010. They played golf together and enjoyed their Saturday night dinner outings followed by dancing their night away.

Funeral arrangements will be provided by Sauls Funeral Home with internment at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens at 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton 29910.
