Caroline Bennett Gill

Caroline B. GillRidgeland, SCCaroline Bennett Gill, 76, widow of William Perry Gill, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC.She was born in Summerville, SC on August 21, 1932 to the late Heyward Adolphus Bennett and Ethel Grooms Bennett. She was an Elementary School Teacher and Homemaker; a graduate of Winthrop College, a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church and an avid Clemson fan. She supported the Jasper County Animal Rescue Mission and loved animals.She is survived by her sister, Emily Bennett of Charleston, SC; sister in law, Anne Gill of Rock Hill, SC; two nephews, Jim and Andy Gill; nieces Beth Wallace and Gary Turner and special friends and neighbors, Beth and Skeeter Gregorie of Ridgeland, SC.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, November 13, 2008 at St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Ridgeland, SC. A visitation will be held at the church from 3:00 pm until the hour of service. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill, SC.
