Caroline Heyward Goethe

Caroline Heyward Goethe, 86 of Bluffton, previously of Tillman, SC and widow of Wallace E. Goethe passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Belfair Gardens.She was born in Hardeeville, SC on April 30, 1926 to the late Henry G. and Floride Pritchard Heyward.Along with her husband, Wallace, she owned Goethe Brothers Grocery and Farm in Tillman. She was a member of Tillman Methodist Church. She loved flowers and gardening.She is survived by her daughter, Patsy G. Hodge (Frank) of Bluffton; two grandsons, Franklin Perry Hodge III (Janna) and Wallace Christopher Hodge (Mary) all of New York City; and great grandchildren, Franklin Perry Hodge IV, Ryan Joyce Hodge and Heyward Christopher Hodge all of New York City. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harry G. Heyward and Thomas C. Heyward and sisters, Margarite H. Toliver, Catherine H. Sconyers, Lulie H. Miser, Virginia H. McMurrian, Floride
