Carolyn Gerhardt Bisha

Carolyn Gerhardt Bisha, 78, of Bluffton, SC, daughter of Ken and Elizabeth (Young) Gerhardt, passed away peacefully at her home in Sun City Hilton Head on July 13th, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family, which gave her so much joy throughout her life and her final moments.

Carolyn lived a full life from adventures overseas in her younger days, starting a family with her late husband Fred, boating, and traveling with her second husband Ted, to enjoying the simple pleasures of gardening and playing with her grandchildren.

As a Sun City resident, Carolyn enjoyed gardening, participating in several bible studies, walking with friends, and was active in the Native Plant and Orchid Club. Carolyn’s faith played a large role in her life, and she loved being able to volunteer for Sunday school or help families in need. Carolyn’s strong faith gave her comfort and peace throughout her life and to her family and friends in her final days.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Ted Bisha, daughter Nicole Mannara, sons Jason (Brie) Broesicke and Erik (Jaime) Broesicke, grandchildren Mathew and Mikayla Mannara, Annie and Kate Broesicke, and Marren and Erika Broesicke, and brother Richard (Nancy) Gerhardt.

There will be a private burial for immediate family members at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, SC. Everyone is invited to attend a Celebration of Life service at Grace Coastal Church, 15 Williams Drive, Okatie, SC 29909, at 12 noon on Saturday July 17, 2021.
