Carrie Lee Brown Wells

Mrs. Carrie Lee Brown Wells, 104, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Tuscola, MS on September 10, 1909 to the late William Sloan Brown and Daisy Blann Brown.She was a retired Bookkeeper for Palmetto Electric Cooperative in Ridgeland, SC. She was a member of Ridgeland Baptist Church and a charter member of Ridgeland Senior Citizens.She is survived by her daughter, Angela D. Wells of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Roger (Carolyn) Brown of Gainsville, GA; Waldo Brown of Alamo, GA and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Ridgeland Baptist Church with burial in Thames Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the hour of service at the church. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangments. (saulsfh.com)
