Cassie Marion Sanders Turner

Cassie Marion Sanders Turner, 93 of Bluffton, SC and widow of George Harrell Turner passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Life Care Center of Hilton Head.She was born in Savannah, GA July 21, 1917. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Cassie Bazemore Sanders. She was a graduate of Savannah High and a member of the first graduating class of Armstrong College. She was a past Worthy Matron of Laurel Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of The Retired Officers Association and The Bluffton United Methodist Church.She is survived by her son, Benjamin S. (Molly) Turner of Bluffton and one daughter, Nancy (Dr. William) Epps of Bluffton; three grandsons, William, Mathew and Christopher (Jaroslava) Epps; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 15, 2009 at The Bluffton United Methodist Church with interment at Hill Crest Abby East Cemetery, Savannah, GA. The family will receive friends from 5 til 7 Friday evening, August 14, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC.
