Catherine R. Battista

Catherine R. Battista, 95, of Bluffton, SC passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at her home.

Catherine was born February 7, 1927 in Italy to the late Carmen Tigani and Rosaria Federico Tigani. A talented florist, she owned The Flower Cart in Kane, PA. She was known for her big heart, her kind nature, and her impeccable singing voice. She attended St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.

Catherine is survived by her son, Jim Battista (Xiao Jie Liu) of Bluffton; daughter, Rose Marie Krauss of CO; sisters, Josephine Simonsen (Ronald) of Warren, PA and Rose Calio of Atlanta, GA; and brother-in-law, Gus Arrigo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Battista; brother, Pat Tigani; and sisters, Grace Tigani and Mary Arrigo.
