Charles "Chuck" Alan Ruud

Charles (Chuck) Alan Ruud, 69 of Sun City South Carolina died unexpectedly after a short hospitalization on January 17, 2022. Chuck was born in Evanston, IL and graduated from University-Platteville, WI in 1976.

Chuck is survived by Becky his wife of 47 years, son Charles (Chuck), daughter-in-law Layla, granddaughter Aila, 2 sisters, Bonnie Ruud, Judy and husband Robert George. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth Ruud and sister Barbara.

Chuck was an active member of the Sun City Woodshop; he enjoyed golf, and spent many hours at the pool with friends. He was the self-appointed Mayor of Village Green neighborhood.    Chuck will be remembered by his neighbors and friends for his out-going personality, sense of humor, and generosity in sharing of his talent through his wood working gifts.

A memorial service to be scheduled the spring in celebration of his life.
