Charles "Chuck" Carte

Charles (Chuck) Carte of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away on November IO, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 31, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Homer and Elizabeth (Bell) Carte.

Chuck graduated from Wintersville High School in 1967. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Weirton Steel Corporation.

He managed the former Cartes BP in Wintersville, was an avid golfer at The Cadiz Country Club and was a pitcher with the Steubenville LaBell and Aquinas Soft.ball Leagues.

He is survived by his Wife, Carla Carte, two sisters, Bonnie (Dave) Nicholson and Peg (Gary) Westfall and brother-in law, Jerry (Linda) Boyd.

Chuck will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Private arrangements will be made by the family.
