Charles Augusta Johnson, 58, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at his home in Ridgeland, SC.He was born on May 26, 1951 in Walterboro, SC to the late Charles and Carrie Esaw Johnson.He was a Landscaper and a loving husband and friend to all. He was a Christian.He is survived by his wife, Almeta Heyward Johnson of Ridgeland, SC; two daughters, Dawn and Angela Edmonds, both of Syracuse, NY; one brother, David (Miranda) Johnson of Boston, MA; two sisters, Cora Lee Singleton of Walterboro, SC and Navis (Gary) Byrd of Savannah, GA.; stepfather, Howard Houston of Savannah, GA and a host of relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at The Mt. Carmel Baptist Center in Ridgeland with burial in St. John / Richardson Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3 til 7 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W.
