Charles Leland Remschel

Charles Leland Remschel – Our dear sweet Charlie passed unexpectedly on April 8th at home. He was born in Hackensack, NJ on July 14, 1956 to Barbara and Charles Remschel. Along with his parents he is survived by his sister Kathy Remschel Flueck (Guido), brother Ronald, sister-in-law Michelle Swartz Remschel, nephews Tillman Gressitt and Shea Remschel, niece Ali Remschel and many other family members whom he loved dearly. Preceding him in death are his cousin and best friend Bobby Remschel and his uncle Lou Remschel. Charlie’s passions were music, nature, the Dallas Cowboys, baseball, and basketball to name a few. Charlie worked with his father for many years building custom homes. He had a special talent for fine carpentry and stone work. The friendships he made throughout his life were very important to him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the home of Michelle Swartz Remschel in Hewitt, NJ. Call Kathy for directions at (843)816-3915.
