Charles William Morse

Charles William Morse, 96, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at his home.He was born in Hastings, NY on April 3, 1912. He was the son of the late William C. and Jennie Spicer Morse.He moved to Bluffton in 2005. He was retired from the International Harvester Corporation. He was an avid golfer. He was the past President of the Brittany Spaniel Club. He was the owner of two National Champions. He was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and the Al Koran Shrine of Cleveland, OH. He attended the University of Rochester on a basketball scholarship.He is survived by his wife, Olive Morse of Bluffton, SC; one stepson, Charles William Hocevar of Hilton Head Island, SC; two step daughters, Margaret Ann (Peggy) Wade of Dalton, IL and Carrie Elizabeth Spisak of Bluffton, SC; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Island Hospice, P.O.
