Chase Pendleton Phillips

April 16, 1997 – July 11, 2022

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved son, Chase Pendleton Phillips.  After a brave 2 year battle with cancer Chase passed away Monday July 11, 2022 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC.

Chase was born at Hilton Head Hospital on April 16, 1997 to Anthony and Natalie Phillips. Chase lived his entire life in Bluffton, SC and attended McCracken Middle School where he was a member of the baseball team.  Prior to high school Chase loved playing baseball with his older brother Logan on a year-round travel team, The Bluffton Buzzards.  Chase loved the Atlanta Braves and was an avid collector of Braves hats and apparel.  He was a loyal friend and was always there in anyone’s time of need, he loved hanging out with his friends and spending time together.

Chase is survived by his father, Anthony Phillips of Bluffton, SC. His mother and step-father, Natalie and Matt Miller of Bluffton, SC. Brother Logan Phillips and nephew Jaxton Phillips of Bluffton, SC. Step sister Margaret Miller of Bluffton, SC and step brother Matthew Miller of San Diego, CA.  Chase has many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and friends that will be mourning his loss.  Of course we cannot forget to mention Chase’s adored and beloved dog Zeus.

Sauls Funeral home has been entrusted with Chase’s last wishes to be cremated.

A memorial service will be held August 6, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Marine Rescue Squadron 1B, 38 Confederate Ave. Bluffton, SC 29910

In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to the American Cancer Society to help fund research for this awful disease.
