Chasity L. Johnson

Chasity L. Johnson, 50, of Ridgeland, SC passed away July 24, 2026 at Hilton Head Hospital in Hilton Head Island, SC.

Chasity was born April, 12, 1976 in Savannah, GA to Nicholas Fields and the late Rosa Mae Bowman Fields. She was educated in the Jasper County school system and worked as a sales associate for convenience stores. There was nothing she loved more than her family.

Chasity was preceded in death by her son, Jar’Quest Fields, and a niece, Quandashi Busby. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Ervin Johnson, Jr. of Ridgeland; three sons, Joshua Fields, Jaheem Green and Rico Cannon, all of Ridgeland; one step-son, Jaylyn Johnson and one step-daughter, Makiah Johnson, both of Savannah; three grandchildren, Joshua Fields, Jr., Heaven Fields, and Stella Rose Peters; her dads, James Bowman, Sr. (Shirley) of Walterboro, SC and Nicholas Fields of Florida; father-in-law, Ervin Johnson, Sr. (Shirley) of Savannah; three sisters, Shawna Burton (Clarence), Nicole Graham (Antwon) and Melissa Thomas, all of Ridgeland; one brother, James Bowman, Jr. (Patsy) of Ridgeland; three aunts, Christine Radcliff of Walterboro, Carolyn Bowman of Walterboro, and Geraldine Gibbs (Albert) of Chesapeake, VA; two uncles, Johnny Bailey and Lawrence Bowman, both of Walterboro; two great-aunts, Geneva B. Anderson and Lilian Jenkins, and host of family and friends.
