Christine (Chrissy) Jo Barrett Thursday, August 6, 1998 - Saturday, August 27, 2016 Family and friends celebrate the life of Chrissy Jo Barrett born in Hilton Head Island, August 6, 1998 and flew from this world on August 27, 2016. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile, incredible eyes, and fun loving personality. She was eager to begin a new phase in her life and was taken from us before she had a chance to blossom into her true potential. When you think of Chrissy, please remember her for her love of family, friends, animals, anything to do with the water - beach, boats, swimming and shopping for which she was a workaholic to afford. Chrissy is survived by her mother Valerie Barrett (Mark Seckinger) and her father Gerald Barrett (Sandy Parker); her sister Tabitha Johnson; her brother Gerald Barrett, Jr.; and treasured nephew and niece, James Barrett and Nichole Lewis, all of Bluffton. She is also survived by several loving stepbrothers, stepsisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31 from 6-8 p.m. at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton. A memorial service will be held at Church of the Cross, 110 Calhoun Street, Bluffton on Saturday, September 3 at 10 a.m. It is requested that attire for the memorial to celebrate Chrissy's time here with us be "New Orleans" colorful not black and white.
