Christine Inez Smith, 73, of Bluffton, SC and wife of James L. Smith, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 in the Memorial Medical Center, Savannah, GA She was born in Lowell, MA on October 23, 1939 to the late Henry and Anna Rice Beaulieu. She was an Administrative Assistant for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington. She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Bluffton. She enjoyed cross stitching; playing canasta, cooking and loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, James L. Smith of Bluffton; her daughter, Jennifer L. Drey (Frank) of Savannah, GA; one brother, Maurice Beaulieu of Methuen, MA; one sister, Mary Kane (Donald) of Salem, NH and two grandchildren, Francis Drey and Lanning Christine Drey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Andrews Chapel, Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00 til 7:00 pm on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. The family requests memorial donations be made to John Paul II Catholic School, P.O. Box 1260, Bluffton, SC 29910 in memory of Christine Smith. 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at St. Andrews Chapel, Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton with burial in Beaufort National Cemetery. Visitation from 5 til 7, Monday, July 15, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. Memorial donations to John Paul II Catholic Church, P.O. Box 1260, Bluffton, SC 29910
