​Clair Wentworth Stevens

Clair Wentworth Stevens 9/4/1931 - 10/13/2017 Passed peacefully with his wife and family present at his home in Sun City, in Bluffton, SC.

Clair was born in Mercer, Maine and moved as a child to upstate NY where he grew up. He married Dorothy Garstka in Buffalo in 1952. They had 5 sons. He had a successful career as a self employed broker of consumer goods in Buffalo. They owned a camp called Driftwood in Whitney, Ontario and went there every summer for over 40 years. Clair and Dottie retired to the Hilton Head area in 2001.

Clair was a devoted family man and he was well loved and respected by friends and business associates alike.

He is survived by his Wife Dorothy, His sons: Mark (Joanne), Thomas, Robert (Dori) and Paul (Karen). 9 Grandchildren and 10 great grand children. He was predeceased by his youngest son Randall.
