Claudette Frances Reeve, 83, of Bluffton/Hilton Head, SC and formerly of Syracuse, NY passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, following a short illness.
Mrs. Reeve was born August 2, 1942 in Ridley Park PA, the daughter of the late Claude Boyer and Frances Ang Boyer. She was a graduate of Chester Heights High School where she played basketball and field hockey. Upon graduation, she attended Nursing school at the University of Pennsylvania and interned at Roxborough Memorial Hospital. She met the love of her life, Joe, on a blind date in 1963 and married in 1964. Together they operated Reeve Builders in Syracuse NY and later Reeve Construction Company on Hilton Head Island for almost 40 years. She wore many hats throughout her life to include SuperMom to Liz, Chris and Mike, Volunteer for Lighthouse for the Blind, Campfire Girl Leader, Cafeteria Volunteer, Lector, Cantor, Eucharistic Minister, and Crisis Pregnancy Center Counselor. Many of her summers involved entertaining the grandchildren at the beach and pool on her beloved Hilton Head Island. She was an avid tennis player, golfer and World Traveler. After retiring from building, she spent the last 15 years working for Talbots Outlet, retiring due to health reasons.
Mrs. Reeve is survived by her children, Elizabeth Beaudette (Francis), Christopher Reeve (Miki) and Michael Reeve; grandchildren, Caroline Snook (Walter), Alex Beaudette (Katrina), Colin Reeve (Sydney), Eric Beaudette (Cheyenne), Tatum Isaak (Austin) and Wesley DeZorzi; great granddaughter, Claire Snook and brother Gregory Boyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; granddaughter Elissa Reeve; siblings Suzanne, Michael, Robert and Stephen Boyer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10:00am, Friday, May 1st, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24 Pope Avenue Hilton Head Island SC. The family requests that you wear bright colorful clothing that reflects the spirit of our beautiful Mother and Nana. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Gold Star Teen Adventures 2013 Cemetery Road Candor NC 27229.
