Claudia Davie Brinkman

Claudia Davie Brinkman, age 72, of Bluffton, SC died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Hilton Head Hospital. Mrs. Brinkman was born on March 12, 1942 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Gordon Davie and Claudia Doering Davie. She was a graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High School. She received her formal education from the University of Wisconsin where she earned a degree in Speech Therapy. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Mrs. Brinkman is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Carl Brinkman, Jr.; son, Carl Brinkman, III (Felicia Santos) of West Orange, NJ; daughter, Claudia Corinne Brinkman of Davis, CA; and sister, Dawn Goodenough (Duane) of Lynchburg, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. Burial will take place at St. Luke Cemetery in Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Friends of Bluffton Dog Parks. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. Burial will take place at St. Luke Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
