Clifford Fred Terry

Clifford Fred Terry, Jr. 75, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. He was born in Deer Isle, Maine on April 28, 1949 and was the son of Isabel Blastow Terry and Clifford Fred Terry.

Clifford “Cliff” attended Deer Isle High School before joining the US Air Force.  He was  a Vietnam War Veteran and served 22 years in the service before he retired from Charleston Air Force Base.  After retirement, Cliff worked at Cameron & Barkley before moving to Hilton Head Island, where he managed and later owned Island Home Center.  After closing Island Home Center, he worked as a contractor for Hagemeyer Lighting Showroom in Bluffton before entering retirement.

Cliff was a loving husband, father, grandfather and cat dad. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed doing DIY projects.  He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda David Terry; children,  Machele (John) Miller;  Darrin Phillips;  grandchildren, Bryanna Terry; Jonelle Miller; brother, John (Carol) Small; sisters, Eliza Spencer; Elsie Conley; Gloria (Rodney) Lassen; former daughter-in-law, Claudette Sayson; children from a previous marriage, Hope Terry, Beverly Terry and Cliff Terry III.

A visitation will be held for Cliff from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Sauls Funeral Home , 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Beulah Christian Church, 820 Beulah Church Rd., Camden, SC 29020, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
