On October 20, 2016, God saw fit for Cody to leave his earthly home… Cody was born in Hilton Head, SC on September 24, 1998 to Eric Neil Lax and April Lynn Boyd. Cody was a 12th grade Honor student at Royal Live Oaks Academy where he was an active member of the Robotics Team, track team, National Art Society, and band. As a member of the Robotics Team Cody helped his team to finish 8th in the world during their first year of competition. As a student athlete, Cody’s skill of choice was the High Jump where he performed nothing short of excellent. Lastly, as a band member Cody showed his creative style through his composition of music using the guitar and drums. Cody is survived by his father, Eric Lax (Lori) of Hardeeville; his mother, April Molnar (Tom) of Hardeeville; his family, Dale Lax, Wyatt Lax and Haley Lax of Hardeeville, paternal grandmother, Margie Lax of Hardeeville and paternal grandfather, Neil Lax of Bluffton, Thomas Molnar, Austin Molnar, Autumn Molnar, and Ciana Molnar of Hardeeville, maternal grandmother, Sandra Kerby of Bluffton, maternal grandfather, Donald Boyd of Metter, GA, maternal grandparents, Charles and Judy Molnar of St. Marys, GA. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton with burial to follow in Bluffton Cemetery.
