Colin Daniel Adam

Colin Daniel Adam, 29, of Beaufort, SC, passed from this life to the next in the early hours of July 16, 2026, at his home on Lady’s Island.

Colin was born January 21, 1997, in Columbus, WI, the son of Scott Adam and Angie Hughes. He graduated from Beaufort High School in 2015 and has worked for Car Doctors LLC for the past 10 years. He was a talented repairman and could make almost any fender bender damage disappear. Colin was a gentle soul with a huge heart for animals, and he especially loved his cats. He was a faithful employee, devoted son and brother, and a loyal friend. He enjoyed music, being outdoors in nature, and spending time with family and friends.

Colin is survived by his parents, John and Angie Hughes, of Beaufort; sisters Ashley Ball and Lisey Hughes, of Beaufort, and Caylie Adam, of Calmar, IA; brothers Chance and Chase Adam, of Calmar, IA, and cousins Nicole Carrizales-Puente, of Beaufort and Chris Hughes, of Aberdeen, MD. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Adam.
