Connie Beth Kennedy

Connie Beth Kennedy, 52 of Levy, SC, passed away on July 15, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2014, Red Dam Baptist Church, 488 Red Dam Road, Hardeeville, SC with burial following at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the hour of the service at the church. Pastor Kevin Crosby will be officiating. Connie was born at St. Mary's Catholic Hospital in Cairo, IL on July 9th, 1962. She graduated from Meridan High School in Mounds IL and continued on to receive a Business Degree from Metro Business College in Cape Girardeau, MO. Connie was married to Randy Kennedy on April 4th, 1989; they were married for 25 loving years. Connie worked in the medical field for 32 years. She enjoyed working with the Childrens Ministry, reading, and spending time with her family. She was also actively involved in her Church. Connie is survived by her husband Randy Jay Kennedy, brother, Joseph Crippen, mother, Edith Maxine Crippen, mother-in-law, Betty Lou Shobert daughter, Katherine M. Kennedy, and grandaughter Annie. She was predeceased by her father, Harold Crippen. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Red Dam Baptist Church, 488 Red Dam Road, Hardeville, SC 29927 or Red Dam Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1339, Hardeville, SC 29927. The family of Connie Kennedy wishes to thank the Hospice Care of the Low Country as well as the Church family for its love, support, assistance and prayers during this time.
