Constance J Harvey

Constance J. Harvey, 86, passed away on January 11, 2020 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.  She was preceded in death by her husband James Charlie Harvey.

Mrs. Harvey was born in Allendale, SC on April 11, 1933 to the late Garvin Carroll and Sue DeWitt Carroll.

Mrs. Harvey retired from Holiday Wear Manufacturing Company in Ridgeland and later, when boredom began, she delivered papers for the Beaufort Gazette.  She was a member of the Sheldon Baptist Church.  She enjoyed deer hunting and horseback riding.

She is survived by her son, James R. Harvey (Patricia) of Sheldon, SC; four grandchildren, Carroll Harvey Torkko (Brian), Erin Harvey Kearse (Jason) both of Beaufort, Ryan Harvey of Sheldon and Ronald Harvey of Walterboro; great grandchildren, Britten Torkko, Jimmy Kearse, Matthew Kearse, Anthony Kearse, Kay Lee Grace Harvey and Ronald Kyle Harvey.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Gene Harvey and Richard Harvey and her sister, Leila Malphrus.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of the service.
