Corine Drake Taylor

Corine Drake Taylor, 90, widow of Charlie Taylor, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at The Ridgeland Nursing Center in Ridgeland, SC.She was born in Ridgeland, SC on September 15, 1918 to the late Charlie Drake and Mariah Beaton Drake Wright. She was a Professional Housekeeper and attended Second Euhaw Baptist Church in Ridgeland, SC.She is survived by her special friend, Nathan Alston of Ridgeland, SC; one stepson, Donald Taylor and stepdaughter, Nish Taylor; sister in law, Ethel Drake of Ridgeland, SC; special nephew and niece, John Lee Williams of Orangeburg, SC and Annie Brakin of Ridgeland, SC who cared for Corine over the years and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Drake.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 17, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel of Ridgeland, SC with burial in Button Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the funeral home.Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements.
